As of 12:45 a.m. on Monday, September 8th, engineers have identified the root cause of the issue and are developing a fix to remediate impact.
Affected customers are unable to open hyperlinks in Outlook Web App (OWA) when clicking the URL in the body of a message.
Workaround: As a workaround, affected customers can right-click the URL and open it in a new tab or window.
Preliminary Root Cause: An update to the environment caused a code issue that is preventing URLs from loading correctly.
