During last week’s upgrade of Blackboard Learn to the new SaaS platform, OIS also took the opportunity to upgrade the ShareStream media management system. - ShareStream Pick-n-Play FAQs-2018.pdf shows the updated Pick-n-Play tool with a new look and easier workflows.
- “Media Assignments” are now called “Student Assignment Submissions” and use a Mashup tool in the text editor boxes instead of an assignment tool. ShareStream Student Assignment Submissions in Blackboard Learn FAQ-2018.pdf shows these changes. Instructors, if you course copied any old Media Assignments, they will need to be recreated to Student Assignment Submissions.

- One of the best new features is the ShareStream Capture app that allows you to create short videos and upload them directly to your course using a mobile iOS device (Android app coming soon). See the press release here. Find the app here.
