This is just a reminder that as of December 11th, Tegrity and ShareStream are no longer to be used at Arkansas Tech. Any content created on either of these applications, from Dec 11th forward, will not be migrated to Kaltura and will be lost. Going forward, please use Kaltura for creating any media assets.
All instructor created videos from Fall 2017 – Fall 2019 courses, as well as all TEG-xxx courses, DEV-xxx courses and, Tegrity Sandbox courses will begin to be auto-migrated starting December 23rd. The process may take a few days to complete before you see them in your My Media repository. Everything else will be in a storage location and will not be lost, they just are not being migrated to the new system. If there is a particular video(s) that you will need that isn’t included, please contact Campus Support and enter a request for a manual migration. We will need the complete Course ID that includes the Term and CRN to find your videos.
If you are unfamiliar with Kaltura, please go to http://video.atu.edu and check out the Kaltura created videos in the ‘What is Kaltura’ tab. You can also check out a recording of one of the training sessions held last month in the End-User Training Channel. Another training session will take place after we return from break and before classes start. Another announcement of this will come out when we return.
