Student Network and Wireless Maintenance
Network Services will be upgrading hardware on the Student and Wireless Networks. Wireless and Student networks will be unavailable during this time. All services will be restored as they become available.
December 22, 5pm
Legacy OneTech Email No Longer Available After December 22
In efforts to continue to improve email services for our students, faculty , and staff, the Office of Information Systems is preparing to decommission the legacy OneTech email system. The OneTech email system will no longer be available after 5pm on December 22, 2014. The OneTech Portal system will not be affected by this change.
FOR STUDENTS:
Current students should already have mailboxes in Office 365. If you would like to migrate your OneTech mail to Office 365, you can follow the instructions at https://support.atu.edu/link/portal/16084/16101/Article/799/How-do-I-migrate-my-OneTech-email-to-Office-365. This is your last opportunity to migrate your email to Office 365. If you are having trouble accessing your mailbox please contact the Campus Support Center at 479.968.0646 for assistance.
NOTE: Only current students get mailboxes in Office 365. All other mailboxes on OneTech will no longer be available.
FOR FACULTY AND STAFF:
All Faculty and Staff should be completely migrated to Exchange. There should not be anything else you need to do. If you are not sure if you are on Exchange, please contact the Campus Support Center at 479.968.0646 for assistance.
FOR EMAIL ONLY AND DEPARTMENTAL ACCOUNTS:
If you are using an email only or departmental email account and it has not been moved to Exchange, please contact the Campus Support Center at campussupport@atu.edu or 479.968.0646 to schedule your account to be moved to Exchange soon. Email only accounts will not be automatically migrated to Exchange and will no longer be available after 5pm on December 22 if they have not been migrated.

December 23, Close of Business, 2 hours
Dean Network Maintenance
Network Services will be upgrading hardware in Dean. The maintenance is estimated to last 2 hours. All network connectivity in Dean will be interrupted during this time. All services will be restored as they become available.
December 23, Close of Business + 4 hours
Production Server Maintenance
The Office of Information Systems will be performing maintenance on the server systems that support all production services beginning at the close of business on Tuesday, December 23. The Maintenance is expected to last 4 hours, however, services will be restored as they become available.

- ePrint
- Authentication to Office 365
- All Departmental Servcies
- UniPrint
- FTP to U, T, and I Drive
December 29 – 30, 9am – 5pm
Switch Maintenance in All Buildings
Network Services will be updating software on switches in all buildings. Network access will be intermittent during this time as the switches are updated and rebooted.
December 30, 9am – 5pm
U, T, and I Drive Maintenance
The Office of Information Systems is preparing to upgrade the server systems supporting the U, T, and I Drives. In order to complete this upgrade, the U, T, and I Drives will be unavailable on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 9:00am until 5:00pm.
While this data is backed up regularly, it is still best practice that each individual keep a backup copy of their data including data stored in these locations. Take this opportunity to make a backup copy of your important data.
FOR STUDENTS:
Students who have been enrolled in Spring 2014, Summer 2014, or Fall 2014 do not need to do anything. Your data will be available after the upgrade. If you have not been enrolled since January 1, 2014, your U drive will no longer be available. If you have data you need in your U drive, please move it to a secure location before December 30.
