There will be an upcoming maintenance period for the Arkansas Tech University network which will allow Network Services to install software and security patches. During this period, there will be multiple planned maintenance/outage windows and efforts will be made to confine these windows to times that will minimize impact on connectivity. The period will begin on Sunday, May 13th and ending June 3rd. Further announcements will be made concerning individual maintenance/outage windows and their impact on connectivity as they’re scheduled.
The first maintenance will occur on Sunday, May 13th, starting at 6 a.m. and lasting until 10 a.m. During this time, the following services may experience intermittent disconnects or loss of connectivity:
- Wireless at both the Russellville and Ozark Campuses
- Internet connectivity
- On-campus services such as Blackboard and OneTech
This maintenance will allow Network Services to update software on the wireless controller, university firewall, and load balancing hardware.
