The Office of Information Systems has scheduled a Blackboard Learn (BbLearn) maintenance window for Monday, January 7th at 8:00 AM CST to Noon.
The BbLearn system will be down for up to 4 hours to change our authentication methods of the login page, as well as enable the first steps of Blackboard’s new user interface design.
When you first visit bblearn.atu.edu you will notice a new login page that is tied to ATU’s single sign-on system. If you are already logged in to something like Office365, you will be logged into BbLearn automatically. Otherwise, you will be presented with the familiar single sign-on page before entering the site.
Once logged in, you will see a new layout for BbLearn called Ultra Base Navigation (UBN) that provides a fresher, modern, and responsive design, with easier access to core features. UBN is the first step of Blackboard’s new Ultra Experience user interface. The biggest thing to know about UBN is that it does NOT change the workflows within courses. Everything within a course will remain as it has. Navigation to a course is what has changed.
