Due to flooding in the Fort Smith area, AREON has updated and adjusted their schedule for equipment replacement along the I-40 corridor. This equipment replacement includes the equipment that provides ATU with its Internet connectivity. The previous maintenance periods for ATU, scheduled for the mornings of May 30th and May 31st, have been moved up.
- The first maintenance will now take place starting at midnight tonight (Tuesday) and extend until 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning (Wednesday)
- The second maintenance will begin at midnight tomorrow night (Wednesday) and extend until 6:00 a.m. the following morning (Thursday).
As a reminder, during the maintenance that will begin at midnight tonight, a total loss of Internet access for both the Russellville and Ozark campuses is expected. On-campus services, such as OneTech, Banner INB, Banner SSB, and the VPN will not be accessible from off campus. The maintenance is expected to only last around 3 hours but the entire 6 hour window is reserved.
During the maintenance that will begin tomorrow night at midnight, work will continue but should not result in a loss of service.
