There will be a planned university-wide network maintenance on Friday, February 28th, starting at 5:30 pm and lasting until 7:00 pm. During this time, network connectivity to university networked services and the Internet may be intermittent. Voice services with the Cisco Unified Communication VoIP phones should not be affected. This network maintenance will allow Network Services to upgrade the university firewall. Actual losses of connectivity are expected to be very brief but the entire window is reserved.
Starting on Monday, March 2nd, starting at 7:00 am there will be an upgrade to the GlobalProtect VPN software that allows staff, faculty, and students to remotely connect to and access on-campus university networked services. This update brings a new user interface experience and the Office of Information Systems will be providing new KB articles on https://support.atu.edu on its usage in the coming days. After this update, the client will prompt you to update the next time you connect to the VPN.
