There will be upcoming planned network maintenance for the University wireless and Residence Hall networks on Sunday, August 8th, starting at 10 am and lasting until 5 pm. During this time, university wireless networks will become unavailable for periods while new security settings are added, and some networks will be removed entirely in favor of new ones. This maintenance will allow Network Services to implement new security and other design changes requested by students in a previous survey.
These new security features will require everyone connecting to our wireless networks to log in with their username and password upon connecting or pre-register their device before connecting. Students in the residence halls utilizing wired network ports will need to register their devices on the new system.
