There will be an upcoming university firewall maintenance on Sunday, November 28th, starting at 10:00 am and lasting until noon. During this time, there should be minimal or no interruptions to the university network and internet connectivity, however, the entire window is reserved. This maintenance will allow Network Services to update the university firewall to the latest recommended version.
A Globalprotect VPN update will also be applied during this maintenance. The next time you connect on Windows or Mac OS, the VPN will automatically download and install the update. During this process, the VPN will disconnect and may need to be manually reconnected once the process is complete. This update will provide security patches to resolve several known vulnerabilities.
