Today, generator technicians are on-site performing tests on the generator that supports the Corley building. Part of their test is to ensure the generator turns on in a loss of power. To thoroughly test the generator, there will be a brief power outage in the building to simulate a loss of utility power. This power loss should last less than 10 seconds while the generator turns on and provides power to the building. If your computer does not have a UPS installed, it will power off during this test. This power outage is expected to occur between 3 pm and 4 pm today.
