Blackboard Ultra courses are new for Fall 2024. We are transitioning to Ultra courses from the older original courses for Fall 2024. What does this mean for faculty?

If you are not familiar with the Blackboard Idea exchange then I recommend checking it out

The Idea Exchange houses ideas to make Blackboard better. Faculty, staff , and administrators can all join the idea exchange and vote for ideas. If you have an idea then you can also submit your idea to the exchange. The community will vote it up if they like it. Anthology uses this community to prioritize new features and updates to Blackboard.
This is a great opportunity to take a look at your online course and re imagine it. The layout of the Ultra course is different from original courses. You may find a different course structure is more suitable for Ultra than what was in Original.

We also have a course in Blackboard called “Blackboard Resources for Faculty”.
This course houses a bunch of resources we have compiled to get you going with your Ultra course needs. All faculty should be enrolled in that course, but if you find that you can’t access it then please let us know. We will get you enrolled in it ASAP!
