October is Cyber Security Awareness Month, so that means we’re talking all about online safety this month. Last week we went over healthy skepticism. Step two is learning how to have strong passwords! 🔐
Passwords should be…
- Long: 12 characters at least
- Complex: a mix of uppercase and lowercase, numbers, and special characters
⚠️NEVER REUSE PASSWORDS⚠️ If a hacker gets into one account, they can get into more!
So then how do you remember all those complex passwords? Install a password manager, that way it takes care of all of the hard work for you! Password managers not only update passwords when you change them, but they can also work across multiple devices, too.
