There will be two upcoming planned network maintenance periods for the ATU wireless and wired networks.
The first maintenance period will be for the ATU wireless and residence networks on Saturday, January 4th, starting at 11:00 p.m. and lasting until Sunday, January 5th, at 1:00 p.m. During this time, new connection attempts to the wireless networks and the residence hall wired networks may be intermittent or not possible. The maintenance window will allow the Office of Information Systems to upgrade the software on the wireless and associated security systems. While the wireless networks should not be offline for long, the security system has a long software upgrade process and may prevent connectivity at various times.
The second maintenance period will be for all ATU wired and wireless networks on Monday, January 6th, starting at 4:00 a.m. and lasting until 7:00 a.m. During this time, wired and wireless connectivity will go offline for all buildings multiple times while the building and core network hardware reboots. This maintenance period will allow the Office of Information Systems to upgrade firmware across the ATU network to meet vendor-recommended software and security versions.
