There will be a planned maintenance for part of the university’s wireless systems on Friday, August 29th, starting at 5:00 pm and lasting until 11:00 pm. During this time, the following areas will have intermittent connectivity interruptions while the wireless units are rebooted.
Academic Buildings - Only Wifi Affected
All academic buildings in Russellville and Ozark
Residence Halls – Wired and Wifi Affected
All residence halls
This maintenance will involve rolling reboots of the wireless units, which means only some will be rebooted at any given time. Due to this, wireless should continue to be available in most locations.
This maintenance will allow Network Services to apply a software patch that failed to apply during the last maintenance. Any actual loss of connectivity for the above areas is expected to be less than an hour, however, the entire window is reserved.
