Warning from DIS about New Phishing/Spam Email

The State Cyber Security Office would like to warn state email users about a new email circulating that contains an infected .zip file. If you receive an email with “Wire Transfer Complete” in the subject line, it should be deleted immediately. It has an infected .zip file attached that contains a dangerous virus. We are currently blocking this email attachment on the state network, but several copies of the email made it into email before the email was discovered and blocked.

An example of the text in the e-mail is:
We have received a Wire from you or your company for amount 147,142.00. Please check wire confirmation attached.
