There will be an emergency planned network maintenance for the Baswell Residence Hall, Campus Recreation, and Fieldhouse buildings on Tuesday, August 25th, between 4:00 am and 5:00 am. During this time, wired and the wireless network access in the buildings may be intermittent or unavailable. This emergency maintenance will allow Network Services to apply software updates to the networking equipment. The software updates should address a bug currently being observed in the building’s network which causes high resource utilization and may begin to negatively impact network performance if not addressed. The actual duration for the loss of connectivity is expected to be less than 20 minutes but the entire window is reserved.
