The Campus Support Center is receiving reports of a pop-up alert on computers that has been generated by Cortex XDR. Cortex XDR is the universities antivirus/anti-malware protection system. The pop-up some people are seeing is in response to an application that runs Apple software updates. See the attached screenshot of the alert. Cortex XDR has prevented this application from running on your computer. We will continue to monitor this situation for further developments. It is safe to click the OK button and close the pop-up alert.
