Starting Wednesday, May 10, all online directory information is available by searching for a person’s name in the Webex app or the search bar in Office 365 (https://outlook.office.com/people/).
On Tuesday, May 9, 2023, our online directory located at www.atu.edu/directory became the target of a denial of service attack. This attack caused the entire ATU website to become sluggish and unresponsive. OIS personnel were alerted to the slow response times on the website and began to investigate the root cause of the issue. We were able to identify and block the attack.
As an additional security measure, the directory was taken offline to ensure the attacker could not change locations and continue the attack. Currently, the directory will remain offline, allowing OIS personnel to analyze the attack and implement steps to mitigate future attacks.
