There will be two upcoming university-wide network maintenance periods.
The first will be for the university VPN connectivity on Wednesday, August 28th, starting at 5:00 pm and lasting until 8:00 pm. During this time, the Globalprotect VPN connectivity to campus may be unavailable for students, faculty, and staff. This network maintenance window will allow the Office of Information Systems to install new hardware for university VPN connectivity. Losses of connectivity for the rest of the university should not occur beyond the loss of VPN connectivity, however, the entire window is reserved.
The second maintenance will be for the university firewall on Thursday, August, 29th, starting at 9:00 pm and lasting until midnight. During this time, there will be periods of no internet connectivity for the Russellville, Ozark, and ACHE campuses. Connectivity to some network services hosted on campus will also be impacted. This maintenance window will allow the Office of Information Systems to install new firewall hardware to replace the existing older hardware. There will be losses of connectivity during this maintenance window but efforts will be made to minimize their duration and the entire maintenance window is reserved.
