ATU has received reports of a scam text impersonating the “IT Help Center” that claims the recipient is no longer an ATU Student and asks them to reply YES/NO to keep their account active; in some cases the sender references an old password to build trust, then pressures the recipient to change their password and share the new one.
ATU will never ask for your password or Duo Code by text, email, phone or chat.
If you receive one of these messages, follow the steps below.
What to do:
- Do not reply to the text, click links, or call any number in it.
- Block and delete the sender’s number.
- If you responded, change your ATU Password immediately using the official portal at https://ams.atu.edu.
- Contact ATU Campus Support at campussupport@atu.edu for assistance.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our Campus Support Center at campusssupport@atu.edu or 479.968.0646.
