Think Twice: The New Rules of Cybersecurity in an AI World
Artificial intelligence is changing cybersecurity faster than ever before. The warning signs we once relied on (typos, suspicious links, and awkward emails) are no longer enough to identify modern cyber threats.
Today’s attackers can use AI tools to imitate writing styles, recreate familiar voices, and craft highly convincing messages designed to exploit trust and urgency!
As part of Arkansas Tech University’s Tech Talks 2026, the Office of Information Systems (OIS), joined by a guest speaker from Palo Alto Networks, one of ATU’s cybersecurity partners, will host a session exploring how AI is reshaping cybersecurity and what faculty and staff can do to better protect themselves and the university community.
